SYMBOLS Featuring Ex-ANGRA Singer EDU FALASCHI Reunites For One-Off Concert In São Paulo
December 28, 2012Brazilian metallers SYMBOLS, who feature in their ranks vocalist Eduardo "Edu" Falaschi (ANGRA, ALMAH) and his brother Tito Falaschi (bass, vocals),reunited for a one-off appearance this past Sunday, December 23 at the Manifesto Bar in São Paulo, Brazil. Joining the Falaschi brothers on stage were Demian Tiguez (guitar),Rodrigo Arjonas (guitar) and Rodrigo "Indian" Mello (drums). The group performed selections from its first two albums, "Symbols" (1998) and "Call To The End" (2001).
Fan-filmed video footage of the concert can be seen below.
After Eduardo joined ANGRA in 2001 and Tito left to focus on other projects, SYMBOLS nearly broke up. But Mello and Tiguez stuck it out long enough to record and produce SYMBOLS' third album, "Faces", in 2004, with Demian handling vocal duties. They were joined on the recording by bassist Cesar Tallarico and keyboardist Fabrizio Di Sarno.
In 2005, SYMBOLS' first two albums were remastered and re-released through a new record label.
